Request a recipe!

I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.

My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?

It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.

And mostly, I can.

I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂

But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!

Recent Reader Favourite Recipes - Tikka Masala, Pastrami, Pad Thai

And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??

DUH!

And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:

WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?

Drop your requests in the comments section below!

Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:

  1. Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!

  2. No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?

{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}

I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

We love and live by your recipes so a Pho soup would be a fantastic addition. My daughter and I are chicken fans whilst my husband loves red meat so recipes that allow us to move between the two options would be greatly appreciated.

Any additional recipes that are Greek, Mexican or French are always appreciated.

    Many thanks Nagi

Please consider high altitude baking recipes. Having moved to Colorado, none of my recipes from the California Coast work anymore.

Hi Nagi, We’re back home from an amazing holiday in Sth. Africa starting with walking across the Victorian Falls then to more various places too many to tell, but the best place for wild life was at Nedile Lodge 3 hours drive west of Pretoria. We were there for 5 days and went out on 9 safaris and saw all the animals one could imagine in Sth. Africa.
Now for my request recipe(s) would be any mains dishes with NO CARBS as I’m getting to a standstill for ideas to have variety. I did pick up a few while away by asking a couple of the chefs of dishes that I fell in love with. In my mind if one personally compliments a chef on their dish they are usually more than pleased to tell or even write it out for you which these chefs did for me, then thanking them gracefully. Now I’m hungry for whatever you can help out with in the NO CARBS category.

I was just about to post something similar to this. I’ve started a keto diet (no sugar/carbs, high fat, moderate protein) and been enjoying it so far. But running out of ideas on what to make. Most of my food are heavy with cream, mayo or butter and a protein. Been using fake carb sources such as kognac noodles, protein bread and cauliflower rice to complement the heavy amount of cream or butter.

Be very interested to see your take on this. Happy to send some photos across for inspiration

Tried your Greek lamb and knocked the socks off of my greek family on Easter! Not to mention the crispy potatoes. Aside from my aunt commenting that she’s NEVER cooked lamb like that! Gotta love the Greek guilt trip. It was the lamb in the crock pot and I’ll always cook it that way from now on no matter what my aunt says! Ever since I found your site I’ve used it a few times per week for delicious recipes to make for my family. For the request, I would love some gluten free options for dinner. Really anything will be immensly appreciated. Thank you for all of your recipes, we are really enjoying them!

Ditto more gluten free options. I really enjoy your site Nagi, especially the recipes that include gluten free options. Though since I have discovered the Orgran gluten free Crispi Premium Breadcrumbs I have been able to expand my repertoire as they seem to make an excellent substitute for Panko breadcrumbs, much better than almond meal in recipes such as the Baked Broccoli Cheese Balls. Also finding the Beerenberg gluten free Worcestershire sauce has meant I have been able to add your Salisbury Steak with Mushroom Gravy to the repertoire (having that tonight). Your site is my number one go to for recipe and meal ideas so many thanks.

I would love to get a recipe for a Pho soup made with turkey legs.
Thanks! Some of the recipes you posted I have made and they come out very well.
My partner complained about the crockpot lamb leg because it didn’t have any pink meat left
but that was the only exception.

I’ve made quite a number of your recipes and they almost always get added to my personal cookbooks for repeat appearances. My suggestions – more slow cooker recipes, variations on your oven baked chicken and rice (love not needing to pre-brown the chicken) and other one pot meals. I am lactose intolerant, so dairy free would be an added bonus.

Thanks so much for all you do!

Love your recipes and your sense of humor.

I have stopped eating red meat, but love meatloaf. Do you have some delicious recipes using turkey or pork?

    Thanks,

    Hi Nagi

I had squid and seaweed soup in Taiwan a long time ago and always remember it but haven’t ever seen it on a menu or recipe. It was made using pork bones for stock (they were still in the tin). Have you ever come across this dish?

Hello Nagi, I’m tipping that when you posted this you didn’t anticipate getting over 300 comments in 24 hours! I think you’ll have enough recipe ideas for 40 more years of blogging.
My request is for more easy red meat and chicken dinners that are full of flavour and use ingredients you have at hand. I love you receipts for classics and basic techniques that can be adapted. For example I love your chicken stew, the gravy is amazing I had been looking for a recipe like it for ages, I adapt your receipe by using skin off chicken thigh fillets and cooking on the stove top. I am sorry but my partner don’t like chicken skin! I also love your amazing oven baked meatball technique that makes the most delicious moist meatball, I use this technique to make curried meatballs and Turkish meatball casserole (Izmir Koster). The satay sauce from your Indonesian style chicken satay is also fantastic and I use it to make satay chicken pizza. So more of the same please. Thanks Heidi
